MENTAL HEALTH - Vol.2

MENTAL HEALTH (Vol.2)

A collection of short prose, interviews, personal stories and poetry from around the world on the themes of mental health.

The FIFTH in our Poetry for Mental Health book series.

"Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. We all have mental health. Our mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. It also impacts on how we cope, interact and form relationships with others, as well as our daily functioning."  NHS.

MENTAL HEALTH - Vol.2

Because of the large number of contributors to Poetry for Mental Health, we have decided to compile a second collection of prose, interviews, personal stories and poetry of the general themes of mental health.

It is undeniable that putting thoughts, feelings and emotions into words, on paper, either with poetry or in a short story format, can be both therapeutic and an incredibly effective method of self-help and healing. Following on from Vol.1, in this brave and uncompromising new collection, over 100 writers and poets around the world (including: USA, Canada, England, France, Wales, Scotland, Republic of Ireland, Australia, Germany, India, Iran, Serbia, Czechia, Mauritius, Malawi, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Greece, Philippines and others ...) explore the themes of mental health, either from their own personal perspectives and experiences, or from the experiences of friends, family and people close by. Covering a broad range of mental health issues, an anthology on this subject is undoubtedly thought-provoking and emotional, but also positive and uplifting too as, for many, putting their feelings into words has set many on the road to creativity, healing and ultimately recovery. ALL profits from the sales of MENTAL HEALTH Vol.2 go towards promoting and publishing poetry for positive mental health.

This MENTAL HEALTH trilogy is probably one of the biggest anthologies on mental health ever published!
