ALZHEIMER
In the ocean of amnesia
I have forgotten to lock the main door
And have arrived here in the strange island
Where everything seems weird, gobbledygook
From where am I?
Who am I?
Why in this country?
Whom do I belong?
Everything appears an unsolved puzzle
And I appear to be an infinitesimal ant
Crawling in the mammoth universe
Of techniques and technologies
Dogmas and doctrines
Philosophies and fables
I have forgotten to book my tickets
For the next flight
That is destined for Liberation
From class, caste, religion
I am patiently wandering
In this abyss of ignorance
Ignorance is bliss
To forget is my habit
I forget often
Myself, my family, my friends, my society
I linger around in this pool of quietude
Mental manacles of non identity
Crush, maim, dismember me
I wish to belong, to be a part of everyone
Be loved for, by all
But I happen to have forgotten everything
How I reminiscence those golden days
Of admiration, adoration
When I was the tip of the hat
Ruling the roost
With an air of dignified approbation
Parties, celebration, gala
The music gonging my ears
Now in this loud silence
Where I am, just existing
Without an identity
Who will love me?
Care for me?
I am just a non entity
Look down dustbin disdainfully
If only I could recollect
Who am I?
Why am I?
Dwindling, in the shadows of yester years

COUNT OF THE BREATH
In a ginormous universe
Starts the peregrination
Discover the land
It's seas
With azure oceans
Green trees
With plump fruits
Wandered from every valley to the highest peak
Left nothing untrodden
Trodden footprints left everywhere
Each avenue explored
But did I ever look within
Discover the inner light?
That burns invisibly bright
Which is the voice of every dumb
The rudder of the ship
The rhythm of music
The essence of living
I m just existing
In the deserts of uncertainty
Muddled waters entering
Into an abyss of ignorance
I wish to die unnoticed, uncared, unlamented.

DISMEMBERED SELVES
Strolled the world
Gathered knowledge of cultures, civilisations, races, groups
Researched meticulously
Yet an essence of emptiness, hollowness, futility dawns
As if nothing ever happened
Awaiting to begin a new series
Of unplanned, undecided, unknown dreams
On a new horizon to be rising
And man dwindling
Between past and future
Hope and Despair
Faith and disbelief
Materialism and Spirituality
Armed to the teeth
Still feel without, unprotected, unasked
Futile endeavour of man
To attain 'Unity', 'Within' and 'Without '.

DISSIMULATING REALITY
Misery, misery all around
In, around, about, above, within, without
Yet myriad men wear
Deceptive, superficial smiles
To dissimulate the ultimate truth
Beyond many cheers
There are umpteen, unseen, unwept, melancholies, miseries, tears.

MENTAL ABUSE
My mind is like a white paper
That blots the black and the white
Semantics and non semantics
Syllables, morphemes, words, phrases
Which to be considered intended?
Which unintentional, just a slip of tongue?
Meanings overlap meanings
A layer within another engulfed
No circumference, no contour
Which ones to ignore, which to imprint?
Which ones to recall, which to forget
Speechless trauma sailing in an abyss of
Infinity
Silence spreads it's shadowing sheath
And awaits the hour of justice
Is it justified?
To scratch someone by the invisible, deepest, darkest scars in the psyche?
~
A CONSCIOUS MIND
What stark realities are all around
How can I breathe normally?
Bastards namelessly dawdling
Legal rights denied to the legitimate sons
Rape of niece by uncle
Gargantuan, glaring, unemployment, starvation, penury
Unjustified scepticism, mistrusts, phobias
Deep penetrating antipathy, antagonism, terrorism
Blood - Blood - Blood -
Irrecoverable, malignant, mental pains
Falsity, duplicity, complexity
Despair ,disillusionment, despondence
Sinking hearts in an arid, woeful wasteland
Small distance, wide gulfs in the minds
Escalating complexes, callousness, domination
Only repining restlessness pervades far and near
Who foe, who friend, who dear?
Insomnia and a long sleep forever.
